Yoshihide Suga Becomes japanese New Prime Minister as Shinzo abe Era Ends:

Yoshihide Suga who also called as the right - hand man of japanese former prime minister Shinzo abe .He has been elected as the Japan's New Prime Minister following a vote in the country's parliament on Wednesday .

The 71 year old head of the ruling Liberal Democratic party replaces outgoing leader Shinzo abe .

Shinzo abe was the Japan's longest serving prime minister who announced his resignation in August due to his bad health conditions then he decided he can't continue the work and announced his resignation.

Suga was elected LDP leader on Monday with about 70% of the votes but he still required the backing of the country's national legislature .

Yoshihide Suga became the country's 99th prime minister on Wednesday putting and end to the administration led by his predecessor Shinzo abe - the longest in modern japanese history now Suga became the marking of beginning of a new era shaped by daunting political,economic and societal challenges.

On Wednesday night in his first news conference as the new prime minister Suga characterized his cabinet as one that will work for the people and said ending the coronavirus pandemic as well.

Rebuilt and boost up the Japan's economy will be highest priority for his administration.

The Abe Era Ends

Japan's longest serving prime minister Shinzo abe Era Ends now and his cabinet also resigned clearing the way for his successor to take over after parliamentary confirmation later on Wednesday , Abe was stepping down due to his bad health condition.

* Chief cabinet Secretary of Liberal Democratic party of Japan Yoshihide Suga long seen as abe's right hand man was chosen Monday as the new head of the governing liberal democratic party ,virtually guaranteeing his election as prime minister  parliamentary vote on Wednesday because of the party's majority.

His first most priority is to betterment of economy because of bad pandemic effects .
