The founder of mMiranda house is Sir Maurice gwayer in 1948 .Miranda house started with 33 students in july 1948 which rose to 105 by september the same year .It was 2090 in 1997-98 .tThe academic staff icreased from six in 1948-120 permanent.The college accomodation hostel housed 43 students in 1948 ,of whom seve enrolled at other colegs of the university of delhi.There  are now 250 students in the hostel.

     2.Lady Shri Ram College

Lady shri ram college in delhi is established in 1956 bythe late Lala shri ram in memory of his wife phoolan devi the college began in school building in daryaganj ,central delhi with 299 students ,nine faculty four staff and three distinct courses of studdy .Today the college is located in 5 acre campus in lajpat nagar in south delhi.It has approximately 2000students over 150 faculty administrative staff and 16 courses of study

Hindu collegewas founded in 1899 by krishan dassaji gurwale in the backdrop of the nationalist struggle against the british raj.It was affiliated to punjab university as there was no university in delhi at that time.As the college grew it faced a major crisis in 192.THE PUNJAB UNIVERSITY warned the college that university  would disaffiliate the college if thecollege failed to get a proper building of its own.

The history of stephens colleg can be traced to st stephens high school founded in 1854 bty the reveren samuel scott ,chaplain of delhi,runby the delhi missionof the united society/The reverend samuel scott allnutt served as its first principal.

Hansraj college is a constituent college of the university of delhi in new delhi,india.The  departments of hansraj college includes science ,liberal arts  and commerce.The college was founded on 26 july 1948 in memory of the prominent indian educator and nationalist mahatma hansraj.Itially started as an institution for men the college become co educational in 1978.It is one of the most prestigioyus college of university of delhi,with over 3000 students , it is one of the laregst constituent colleges of the university of delhi.The college hoisted the monumental flag on 25 januray 2017 which was hosted by ex student of college and famous indsutrialist Naveen jindal, SHARUKH KHAN was also graduate from the hansraj college.

PSGR Krishnamal collge for women is an atunomus arts and science collgeg located in coimbatore,tamil nadu ,india .It has been recognized as the collge of excellence by the university grants commission.Founded by sri g.r govindarajuluy and smt.chandrakanthi govindarajulu with amotto of empowering women through education inyially affiliated by university of madras.
