The Supreme Court of India
The Supreme court of India was established under the provision of article 124 of the indian constitution it is established on 26th January 1950.
1- Under the amendment act of Indian constitution states that in the supreme court consist of chief justice of India and not more than thirty other judges.
2-The arguments and all the legal works and proceedings of supreme court are conducted in English language only.
3-Every judge in the supreme court after consulting the CJI of supreme court is appointed by the President of India.
4-CJI of India is selected by the President of India from high court and supreme court judges who is more appropriate is selected by the President.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-Should be citizen of India.
2-Has been a judge of high court for at least 5 years.
3-Has been an advocate of high court two or more succession for at least 10 years .
4-Attaining the age of 65 years.
5-Resigning letter of CJI should be submitted to president of India.
6-The only way to remove CJI from his post is impeachment procedure.It should be signed by the at least 100 members of Lok sabha or 50 members of rajya sabha.

# To clear disputes between different states of the union or between union and any states .
# The Supreme court is the highest court of appeal from all courts in the territory of India.
# Supreme court is the highest authority for interpretation of the constitution.
*Sharad Arvind Bobde is the current Chief justice of India his annual salary is about Rs 2,80,000 without other allowance.
:: We can only go to direct Supreme court in the case which is related to the Fundamental rights.
::In the other cases we have to go first to district courts , High courts and then applicable to go to Supreme court.
:: Supreme court is the highest court which situated in the respective countries.
:: The services provided to CJI is same as to which is given to the President of India.
# The first chief justice of India is justice Hiralal J. Kania.
#The first women judge of supreme court is justice Meera Sahib Fatima Bibi.
