History

The company was registered in Ambawadi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 15 February 2007 as Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. In June 2010, Reliance Industries (RIL) bought a 95% stake in Infotel Broadband Services Limited (IBSL) for ₹4,800 crore (US$670 million). Although unlisted, IBSL was the only company that won broadband spectrum in all 22 circles in India in the 4G auction that took place earlier that year.Later continuing as RIL's telecom subsidiary, Infotel Broadband Services Limited was renamed as Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) in January 2013. In June 2015, Jio announced that it would start its operations throughout the country by the end of 2015.However, four months later in October, the company postponed the launch to the first quarter of the financial year 2016–2017. The 4G services were launched internally on 27 December 2015. The company commercially launched its 4G services on 5 September 2016, offering free data and voice services till December 31, which was later extended till March 31, 2017. Within the first month, Jio announced that it had acquired 16 million subscribers. Jio crossed 50 million subscriber mark in 83 days since its launch, subsequently crossing 100 million subscribers on 22 February 2017

Now we start to discuss about the owner of this company

Mr. Mukesh Ambani is a founder of this industry but in spite calling him the complete owner we can say this company is managed  by huge no of share holders and the team behind RIL(Reliance Industries Limited) so its basically called a public company that is operated  by many organizations.

Early life of Mr.Ambani

Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani was born on 19 April 1957 in the British Crown colony of Aden (in present-day Yemen) to Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani. He has a younger brother Anil Ambani and two sisters, Nina Bhadrashyam Kothari and Dipti Dattaraj Salgaocar.
Ambani lived only briefly in Yemen because his father decided to move back to India in 1958 to start a trading business that focused on spices and textiles. The latter was originally named "Vimal" but later changed to "Only Vimal."His family lived in a modest two-bedroom apartment in Bhuleshwar, Mumbai until the 1970s. The family's financial status slightly improved when they moved to India but Ambani still lived in a communal society, used public transportation, and never received an allowance.Dhirubhai later purchased a 14-floor apartment block called 'Sea Wind' in Colaba, where, until recently, Ambani and his brother lived with their families on different floors.

Ambani’s Adequacy

The education qualification of Mr.Ambani is he attended the Hill Grange High School at Peddar Road, Mumbai, along with his brother and Anand Jain, who later became his close associate. After his secondary schooling, he studied at the St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
He then received a BE degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology.Ambani later enrolled for an MBA at Stanford University but withdrew in 1980 to help his father build Reliance, which at the time was still a small but fast-growing enterprise.

How Reliance Jio become the worlds’s fastest growing network?
Telecommunications expert Reliance Jio gained 50 million new mobile subscribers within 83 days of launching the Jio Phone. Since then, they have gained a huge no of subscribers within just few months .

How Reliance Jio rise to the top so quickly?

These are the key highlights which can be described as the important roles of making this network a world’s fastest growing network.

Budget friendly internet enabled devices

The costing of an Internet enabled smartphone in india was too high that a single middle class person would think 100 times to spend a single penny of ruppes to use the phone for internet purposes.
With the ₹ 1500 JioPhone, a feature phone with smartphone capabilities, Reliance Jio makes a great revolution in indian smartphone market, this phone is cheap, its good in terms of features.you can browse youtube and can easily do videocall through this phone.the features that provides by jio is way better if we compare a featured phone with a 4 inches smartphone.even if you want my opinion I will go for this as this is handy easy to carry, more durable than any smartphones and the most important part the plans are way more economical than any other network providers available in India
As it turns out, the underserved of the Indian population didn’t need convincing to get online—they just needed an affordable way to do it. Reliance Jio lowered the financial barrier to mobile internet access and, as a result, gained 47% market share within less than a year.

Budget friendly internet services and plans

Before Jio we have to pay approx Rs 200 to get 1 GB 3G connection. But the time has changed now nowadays we’re having 1.5GB of daily data for 84 days in the sum of 500 which is quite reasonable as we’re getting 126GB(Plan may vary) of Data to be used within 2.5 months. Its quite good for day to day internet usage atleast  its far better than having 1gb of data for 28 days.

As this makes jio to be the worlds’s fastest growing network.
